Faith Lutheran Kindergarten is centrally managed by Queensland Lutheran Early Childhood Services and is co-located on the grounds of Faith Lutheran College Redlands. Click here for map.
Our guiding documents for our program are the Early Years Learning Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline, which focuses specifically on Kindergarten aged children. There are five areas within these – Identity, Connectedness, Wellbeing, Active Learning and Communication. These areas cover the development of the whole child.
Routine is what our day is based on. Routine empowers children to feel in control and become independent as well as creating a calm, consistent environment. Of vital importance to routine is opportunity for flexibility and spontaneity, allowing us to remain sensitive and adaptable to children’s needs and interests.
Through observations and assessment, we are continually monitoring children’s development and progress. This allows us to implement activities and experiences that are relevant, challenging and generally fun and exciting.
Enrolments at Faith Kindy are limited and it is suggested that you complete a Waiting List Application as soon as possible.
